Amor en Acción is an orphanage and care facility for abandoned and abused children around Lake Chapala.

Villa Infantil is an orphanage at Lake Chapala that cares for very young children found abandoned on the streets of Guadalajara.

Ninos y Jovenes is a village for homeless and abandoned children in San Juan Cosala that serves children from all parts of Mexico.

Casa de Ancianos is an elderly care facility that cares for those who can not afford to pay for food and shelter.

   
 

 

Those who provide children of extremely poor families with the opportunity for an education include:

Los Niños de Chapala y Ajijic provides educational and financial assistance to children of very poor families by linking children directly with personal sponsors.

Lake Chapala Society provides full college educations to children of very poor families who have excelled in high school and could not otherwise attend college.

 

Those who provide miracles to children of extremely poor families through medical care include:

Niños Incapacitados provides medical assistance to children suffering from disabilities or from life threatening illnesses whose families are poor and cannot afford medical help.

Pasos Milagrosos provides equine therapy to handicapped children of extremely poor families.
